A Community of Seekers Celebrating and Sharing God's Love!

Youth Ministry

At Andrew Price we believe our call is simple, “Love God by Loving God’s People.” We try to carry that concept through all of our

program and activities – whether we are learning to care for one another in small groups or falling in love with God by learning

His Word in Sunday school! We want youth to know how valuable they are to God and seek to provide an uplifting

environment where students can make friends and make progress in their spiritual journeys. If you are an area youth, we would

absolutely LOVE to meet you and hope you know you are invited to visit any of our programs any time!

What is UMYF?
United Methodist Youth Fellowship or UMYF is a great way to meet friends, grow in your faith and to experience what it is like to
be a part of a church family! This program is geared mostly towards fellowship. It’s a laid-back kind of time where we learn
about God together, invest in our relationships with each other, and best of all play some awesome games!  If you are new,
or if you are inviting someone new to join you, this is the best program to try out. We always have a great time together
and remember…the more people we have, the bigger and better the games get!

What do you do outside of church?

During the year we do lots of different activities.

Some for fun, some for service, but all are great times.

We normally have 1 activity per month.

Some Highlights of our Yearly Activities:
  • Summer mission trip: Click here for information on this summer’s trip.
  • Fall retreat
  • Hiking Trips
  • Warmth in Winter (a winter retreat sponsored by the UMC conference)
  • 30 - Hour Famine: Click here for more info.
  • Broomball
  • High Ropes Course challenges

APMUMC UMYF is also very involved with mission service projects.  Aside from our annual big summer mission project we love
God’s people right here in the Nashville community through various projects. This year we’ll serve meals to the homeless, support
Room at the Inn, visit the residents at Clover Bottom, work the “Last Minute Toy Store”, and raise money for World Vision
through the 30-Hour Famine.
